Components in buildings must be installed in a way so that no damage can be caused by water, moisture or other effects. Bathrooms, showers, swimming pools, balconies, commercial kitchens and industrially used wet areas must therefore be protected accordingly. This is normally done using sealing materials which can be applied by brush or spatula, or sealing tapes supplied in rolls. Particular care must be taken with the joints, corners, wall penetrations and floor drain.

Jaeger develops, produces and distributes components such as sealing tapes, corners, wall and floor collars, as well as Sealing and Uncoupling Membranes. In the last 15 years, we have developed over 1,000 different product and detail solutions. In close cooperation with test institutes and approval authorities, national approvals for many countries are audited by several external testing agencies. Our service is thereby integrated into the quality management system of our customers – we carry out tests, issue test certificates and carry out production controls.
